Tsahi - The Founder and manager of the nursery has only worked in early years and education and decided from the very first role that she wanted to open her own establishment. This inspiration came from the desire to assist babies and children in helping themselves learn from their experiences. The idea that children were like sponges and could learn just about anything was just amazing to her and Tsahi wanted to have a part in this. In her spare time Tsahi loves swimming, ballet, music and trying new foods. Tsahi enjoys spending time with her daughter that also added to her passion for working with babies and children. Tsahi is also very much into fashion and loves finding quirky items of clothing and accessories that you may not find on the high street!
Simon the chef
Award winning chef joins Le Jardin des Dyvrande.
Our new chef Simon Assaf is a medal winner at the prestigious International Salon Culinaire, was New City College Student of the Year 2015, and holds a number of awards for promoting nutrition in the community. After completing his NVQ Level 3 in Professional Cooking he did the rounds of West End restaurants, pub kitchens as well as food development projects. However chef Simon's passion has always been cooking-up nutritious-dense and tasty food on small budgets.
Chef Simon holds dearly to the principle that "simple good quality ingredients produces simple good quality food. All that is needed are French culinary skills, good suppliers and the love of food."
"The biggest challenge for any chef is when young children eat your food. Reputation does not sway them, they are unimpressed by gimmicks, and are very direct if they do not like what you serve up. At the same time we have to ensure their young bodies are getting all the goodness they need."
